The KUL project continues to bridge borders and foster creativity with the start of its Sustainable Fashion & Design lecture series, held on May 13th. The session brought together participants from all three partner organizations:
-
🇭🇷 CUK Bjelovar – Center for Lifelong Learning and Culture Bjelovar (Croatia)
-
🇷🇸 Engineers for Environmental Protection Novi Sad (Serbia)
-
🇸🇮 Development Center Murska Sobota (Slovenia)
This online lecture was organized in close collaboration with Callegari – the Italian School of Fashion and Design, a respected institution known for its emphasis on innovative and sustainable design practices.
The session marked the first in a three-part series dedicated to sustainable fashion, highlighting contemporary approaches that balance style with ecological responsibility. Participants explored the relationship between fashion, environmental awareness, and new trends in design that emphasize slow fashion, ethical production, and creative reuse of materials.
Upcoming Sessions
The Sustainable Fashion & Design module will continue with two additional sessions, offering deeper insights and practical applications:
-
📅 May 20th
-
📅 May 27th
The entire module is co-organized by CUK Bjelovar and Callegari, and is part of the broader educational framework of the KUL project, which focuses on sustainability, culture, and cross-sector creativity.
