Business Idea Description:
Lighthouse in Blue is an association and social enterprise founded by parents of young people with autism, with the mission to provide meaningful daily activities, a sense of purpose, and employment opportunities for individuals with autism and other vulnerable groups after they finish high school—when most forms of support typically end.
The organization produces handcrafted paper made from recycled cigarette packs, which can be used for printing promotional materials or as a medium for artistic creation.

Products and Services:

  • Recycled handmade paper in original A3 format

  • Recycled handmade paper in smaller formats

  • Recycled handmade paper in various colors

  • Design and printing services on recycled paper (business cards, diplomas, certificates of appreciation, greeting cards, coloring books, decorative items for events such as birthdays, weddings, and christenings)

  • Handcrafted products made from recycled paper (bags, magnets, envelopes, vinyl record sleeves, notebooks, coasters)

Sustainability and Innovation:
The project enhances the quality of life for young people with autism and other vulnerable groups by providing them with meaningful work and social inclusion, while also supporting families in their caregiving roles. Environmentally, it promotes recycling and the principles of the circular economy through the creative reuse of discarded materials. Innovation lies in the combination of social entrepreneurship, environmental responsibility, and artisanal craftsmanship—transforming waste into valuable, functional, and beautiful products.
